... It was Halloween today! kay I'll stop now XD:
Lily's day was bad, actually. D: It was a normal school day, but you were supposed to wear your costume (if you had one, that is). All the girls were dressed in the most revealing clothes possible, and the guys were enjoying it, like every other teenage Halloween. Nothing special. Oh, and I went trick-or-treating :3 With that freshman kid (go back a few journals to the one about our first day of school, and you'll find the rant about him there). I was a (NOT SLUTTY) vampiress girl thing, and the freshman guy and all his buddies were all cosplaying. I couldn't find anything to make the cosplay I was planning to do with (nor could Elly), so I didn't cosplay at all
And Elly's day? More interesting, I guess. She had to play a mini-concert for the little kids at the lower-elementary across the street from her middle school (lower-elementary being Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade). She was a 1940s gangster girl :3 There were no hand-held props allowed at her school for Halloween, so she couldn't bring in her fake Tommy gun. D: (which doesn't fire any kind of bullets, but it makes the sound, and it's fun to "fire" ) And there were a bunch of actual activities at her school - which included (in order of when they occurred) A pumpkin/scarecrow decorating contest (which she couldn't participate in because she had to make up some work, but her team that she would've been in still won 1st place :3), Football, a Donut-eating contest, and Basketball. There was supposedly a movie to watch, too, but Elly said that either there wasn't one at all, or that she missed it because she was playing that mini-concert to the little kids. She didn't trick-or-treat, though. :/ But I understand. (You guys probably don't, though. )
Oh - and Elly was telling me about this one guy who was wearing THE GREATEST COTUME. LIEK, EVAR. It was a regular orange shirt and blue jeans, with Pikachu slippers and sandals over them. He had a funky hat, with a Flintstone's tie around it - but that's not the good part. He had a picture of the O RLY owl in the front of the shirt (with the text "O RLY?", of course) and on the back was the O RLY owl again, this time with the text, "QUITE RLY" (the second owl on the back was complete with a monocle, mustache, and tophat, which made the joke all the better. X3). ... it was funnier IRL. D:

You're probably wondering: Why have we been so absent lately? We've been really busy, that's why. *shot yet again* ... could somebody PLEASE get rid of whoever keeps shooting us?

New addition SHINY NEW FANDOM(s) of the journal
A - Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories, and II manga. It wasn't that good, but only the first volume of KH II is out, and Axel is smexiful, so I'll buy the rest of the series when it comes out anyway.
B - The series of books by Stephenie Meyer known as the "Twilight Saga". The first book is Twilight, which Elly just got last week and had been getting through it unusually fastly. It usually takes her months to read a book (especially 500 pages - I mean, jeez, she's 12, people) on her free time like that. The second in the series is New Moon and the third is Eclipse. There are two other books planned (I forget their names, though ), but the fourth isn't to be released until next year.
... you want a summary...? Okay, okay. It's about a girl (in high school. Just as normal as anyone else) who falls in love with a vampire ( Don't go right to assuming the guy's a cape-wearing, blood-sucking, melts-in-the-sunlight type of vampire. Oh no. But I won't tell you anything ;3) READ IT. It's good. :3
C - Jing:King of Bandits. LAWL. Somehow I doubt that many of our watchers will actually know this one. The anime is REALLY bad compared to the manga (but isn't that always the case?). It's a true action/adventure. With the right balance of both. Basically it follows a guy named Jing, the king of bandits (basically a master theif), and his talking crow, Kir (who is a greedy, perverted, talking crow, mind you. Which makes him all the more adorable. ). Pretty good. If you're the action/adventure type thirsting for something that follows that genre in the calssic tense of DBZ spirit, then this one's for you. :3
